About Me

Hello! Welcome to Sew Much Music! My name is Jena Hudson, and I am an elementary music teacher.  I am starting my fifth year of teaching of teaching elementary music. I just started a new position teaching in a primary school. I received my Bachelor's Degree of Music Education with an emphasis in Instrumental Music from the University of Louisville.  I have a Master's Degree in Elementary Technology.  I also have my Levels 1 and 2 in Orff Schulwerk.  Looking forward to getting my level 3 as well!

Besides sharing wonderful musical moments with my students, I enjoy spending time with my husband and baby girl, gardening, sewing, and crafting! I look forward to sharing lesson ideas, craft tutorials, freebies, and amazing products with you.  Follow me on the journeys of my music classroom and in my creative craftroom!

  1. Hi! A while ago I saw your post on how to plan out the full year. You had one page for each grade and you broke down that grade into months...you had what you were going to teach listed under each month! I would LOVE to buy those pages off of you. As a new music teacher it would be awesome to see how a more experienced teacher maps out the year! Would you ever be willing to sell?

  2. Hello! I got your American Composer Flip Book Freebies a few months back. I've used it with my students and they LOVED them. My question is...I have to present at our district inservice and right now one of the standards we are covering deals with comparing/contrasting various composers. Could I have your permission to copy Copland and Sousa only to present to the teachers as a "make it, take it?" I will refer them to your website to get their own set if they decide to use it, which I hope they will want to do. Please let me know as soon as possible? And, thanks! I really enjoyed using these in my classroom.

    1. Hi Ladonna! Thank you for asking me. I am fine with you copying Copland and Sousa for your presentation. Like you suggested, I just ask that you please reference them to my TPT store and/or blog.

      Thank you,
